Wrangler National Finals Rodeo

If you were going to visit Las Vegas anytime of the year, the funnest time would have to be during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo week. The NFR is held every year the first week in December and runs for a total of ten days.

Never will you see more big ass cowboy hats, big shinny buckles, cowboy boots and tight fittin’ Wrangler jeans anywhere then you will in Las Vegas during those 10 days in December.

If you have never attended a rodeo, you are in for the time of your life. You will soon realize it is much more exciting to attend in person then watching it on your television. Be sure to get your tickets in advance, as there might only be the nosebleed section left or none at all when you get there.

Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has to be one of the best-organized events you will ever attended, anywhere.

Las Vegas, The Visitors Authority, the PRCA, UNLV along with every single casino in and around the Las Vegas Valley and hundred if not thousands of businesses make this annual event something to remember and keeps the rodeo fans as well as Las Vegas fans returning year after year for more.

The entire town becomes Cowboy Central during the NFR. You will find any cowboy who is anyone in Las Vegas during this time. You can go shopping at the world famous Cowboy Christmas, get great “cowboy” deals every where you go, go to the rodeo every night or watch it at many designated casinos for viewing it on theater sized screens. Then attend one of the many after parties to mingle in amongst your favorite cowboy or cowgirl. Downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience you will be able to hear live bands and drink your favorite beverage while mingling with thousands of your closest rodeo fans.

The National Finals Rodeo is the end of the season for the cowboys and cowgirls that have been competing all year long in Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, sanctioned events and qualified to attend. The NFR as it is commonly referred to is the foremost championship rodeo event in the United States, and it is a goal of every cowboy and cowgirl that compete in any rodeo, to be good enough to attend the NFR during his or her rodeo career.
