Visible Panty Line Panties – Is Seeing a Woman’s Panties Through a Garment the New Trend?

For years, women searched stores and websites looking for the perfect panty that wouldn’t show through a tight-fitting pair of jeans, shorts, skirts, or dresses. It was all the rage to give the impression that a woman wasn’t wearing any panties at all.

Now, however, it appears that the trend has been reversed, and women are boldly wearing panties and undergarments that show off their brand name choices of underwear.

So, does that mean if you have a lingerie drawer that’s filled with designer panties that don’t reveal the Visible Panty Line (VPL) that you should toss them into the trash? No! The latest trend is for women to wear see-through skirts, dresses, and other garments that show off a woman’s panties.

Perhaps this new trend will certainly be frowned upon by the moral society that believes that a woman shouldn’t wear clothes that are seductive in public. However, the fashion designers appear to be thrilled with the sales volume they’re generating via this new trend.

The curse of the visible panty line, as it was made publicly known in 1976, drove millions of women to stores in search of the new panty designs. However, as with all trends that are started by fashion designers, when they create a new marketing angle, and the public buys the products they’re touting, it becomes the “in-thing” to have in your possession.

Panties are no exception in fashion design trends. All you have to do is turn on your television, or attend a fashion designer event, and you’ll discover that the new trend is to see a woman’s panties showing through a skirt or dress. Not only are thongs being worn, but also now, the boy-cut panties, and full coverage panties like women used to wear in the fifties have returned as in-demand fashion items.
