I am a Gemini, my Partner is a Virgo; apparently she should leave me for Scorpio because we have nothing in common. At least this is what the Zodiac book said. I am hoping she will keep me around a little while longer. But it does beg the question is there such a thing as star crossed lovers and soul mates? My answer would be yes and they hang out in the same bar as Santa the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny. Okay so I am a little cynical but as a Psychic I must hear a million times a day when is Mr. Right coming is he my soul mate? My reply well Mr. almost there could do with some work is available will he do?

Waiting for Mr /Ms Right is like putting a pumpkin in the driveway and waiting for the Good Fairy to turn it into a sports car never going to happen. Why because your spiritual soul mate is not the one who will agree with everything you say, do everything you want, he/she won’t have the all the same likes and dislikes you do. Ask the Universe for a soul mate and you are going to get someone who pushes all your buttons who challenges you on every level who will stand right in your face and go nah I don’t think so. How do I know this because that is exactly what I got when I asked the universe to send a soul mate my direction.

But interesting enough I have never been more in tune with who I am never been more authentic than in this moment. Through my partner I have gotten to see all my dysfunctional behavior patterns and been able to grow so much as a person. I have been pushed pass my self doubt and into my greatness.

When you go after Mr./Ms right you are so full of expectations no one is ever going to be able to measure up. And here is the interesting thing it is all about them. Will they fit in with my friends, will they be sporty intelligent well read, can they cook do they like dogs and so on. All valid questions I might add however notice how the person you seek has to be perfect but not you?

What would happen if you asked yourself the same questions?

-Do I have good intimacy social skills

-Am I a confident well adjusted person

-Am I capable of committing to a long term relationship

-Why did my last relationship fail and what was my longest relationship

Mr/Ms almost there needs some work doesn’t look so bad now! My partner is not perfect despite being a Virgo but she has a loving generous compassionate spirit and a sense of who she is that I respect and admire. We have and will continue to have challenges as we grow and learn together it isn’t going to be the stuff Mills and Boons are based on but I can tell you I wouldn’t give away a minute of the time we have been together.

Here is a little bit of advice don’t go looking for Mr/Ms right until you have found yourself. Don’t go into a relationship hoping to be soul mates go into a relationship as friends. Don’t have expectations have hopes and dreams for the future.
