Do You Want School and Exercise Fashion? Shop at Franklin and Marshall
I have seen many different styles of websites since I came online to the Internet back in early 1996. The first Franklin and Marshal page is consistent with what I have seen on several other websites, with pictures covering the whole page. These pictures change with every time you visit the home page, even if you hit your browser’s back button. Then, the message sits in an overlay over the image. That tells me that they consider the message in the text to be more important than the people in the image. The text is then layered over the image. Then, you go to the next page, which is Shop Collection > Man or Woman. This collection page is very neat, with the model on one side, a set of clothing he or she is wearing on the other and the collection subtitles down the middle. The way that this is arranged draws the eye to the middle of the page, where you click your chosen item and browse through the normal way, which is item after item, just as if you were walking into a store.
The fashions, themselves, are what I would call gym clothes, but young adults wear them constantly these days (as do I, and I’m not young). They’re comfortable, and if you get the right ones, they look nice. I even had a “gym dress” and bought one for my daughter. Thankfully, I inherited that one back when she grew out of it. This was about 25 years ago now, though, and I am pleased to see “gym dresses” coming back into style. The ladies who wear Franklin and Marshall clothing to school or work and with friends will not only look cute in their ladylike ruffles and strapless tops, but they will also be comfortable while doing it. The gentlemen who wear them will look “cool” with their buddies and feel as great as they look, too.
For now, the accessories at Franklin and Marshall are falling behind the rest of the lines at the designer’s shop, consisting of only a few bathing suits, belts, hats and a scarf that they call a bandanna. Still, even for the things that it lacks, this store could very well be the best designer around for your college-bound clothing. It’s sure to get you comfortable enough to get several “A’s” in all your classes. Good luck at school!
